From racing country
Built up the road from the Paperclip.
Ridgeway, Virginia — a few miles from Martinsville Speedway, the oldest track on the NASCAR calendar. Around here, wrenching isn't a trade you pick. It's one you inherit.
The place
Short-track people fix things fast.
Martinsville is a half-mile of concrete and stubbornness shaped like a paperclip — that's the oval in our mark. Race teams here don't get three hours to chase a gremlin; they get a caution flag. We grew up around that standard, and we built Counterman to bring it to every bay in America.
The name
Every parts store had one.
The counterman: the guy behind the parts counter who'd heard every noise, seen every failure, and knew what fixed it — off the top of his head. You didn't search. You asked. He knew.
That guy is getting rarer every year. So we built his successor: an AI trained on factory manuals, the forums, and thousands of confirmed real-world repairs — and we put him in your ear.
The mission
No wasted effort. Right the first time. Any vehicle that rolls in.
